In fact, she kills rosnayy two key characters that were in on the secret. De Rosnay also gets people right. How positively s of the author. I really liked the authors writing style, but they way the story unfolded was not done well.

I have read worse but, this isn’t one I would recommend. Alas, this wasn’t what I was expecting in an overwhelming negative way. What age is this book appropriate for? I enjoyed tatiaba book, although not in the way that i thought that i would. This would be almost fine if Antoine wasn’t an insufferable character – whiny and at times bordering on misogynistic. Even though I can’t rave about Secret Kept and didn’t get as involved in the story as Sarah’s Key, I’m hoping I can judge it on its own merits.
The caricatures remained caricatures. Antoine encounters an unexpected ally: Let me just say that I’m not surprised that our bookstore didn’t sell A SINGLE COPY of this book in hardcover, and though the paperback has been on the bestseller list for a couple of weeks already, we’ve not sold one paperback copy y Wow.

I never related to so many characters in my entire life, to say I simply loved this book will be a major understatement! One settles into Tatiana de Rosnay’s world with a sigh, comfortable that one’s sensibility will be neither offended or challenged.
To view it, click here. Apparently, it wasn’t just Antoine who was passive from what I could see, so was the writing. A clever ruse – perhaps triggered by ‘s Le Terreur – but it has meant that European aristocracies have, historically, craved comfort and security above any other thing.
Although this is not a heart-pounding thriller, deRosnay was able to sustain interest and seductive suspense for the reader. Well-heeled Parisiens promptly moved into the vacated apartments of Jewish families, seemingly without question.
