Sep 22, Heather rated it really liked it Recommends it for: This book is really quite an amya, with lots of characters and a unique plot line that sucked me in from the beginning.
Let me try to explain… Daria Moran is an agent that works for a government organization called the Allied Bureau of Investigation. This agency operates a lot like the FBI, however this book takes place in a future that Reviewed for queuemyreview.
This is where it gets a little confusing. You can be made into a Chosen, by being bitten by and then ingesting the blood of another Chosen. Daria is not predisposed with the DNA, but for an undercover job, she is willing to take the chance.
She will only allow one Chosen to turn her, and that man is Alejandro Martinez. Alejandro is an agent with the GBC, and when Daria approaches him to turn her into a Chosen for a specific job, he cant turn her down. Alejandro and Daria must go deep undercover, pretending to be lovers and partners while attempting a very dangerous and important rescue mission. Can the two of them stay under the radar long enough to save their victim and take down Sante, or will their lust for one another get in the way?
This book is really fairly complicated, so I really had to pay attention while I was reading. There are so many government organizations, new planets and interesting cities, that I wanted to keep reading just to find out more about this new world that Anya Bast had created. There is lots of sexual tension leading up to the actual sex, so by the time it happened, I was practically begging for it. This is way more than just your average Vampire story. Give it a shot!
Sep 22, Blackbook added it Recommends it for: Sexy vampires on another planet. I have no real criticism except I couldn’t feel any real chemistry between the H and the H. Admittedly, I had to read it hiding in my car and in the bath, not the most ideal places but certainly private.
Some of my best reading is done in those spots. Chosen Sin left me kind of flat. There were some interesting twists but not enough to hold me for long. View all 4 comments. I’m a big fan of her Elemental Witches series. I found this book to be light erotica which is still pretty darn hot for mainstream. The story contains some light BDSM and anal play so if that’s not for you Daria has spent the last seven years of life burning to get Anya Bast is yet another erotica author who is making the move to mainstream publishing.
Daria has spent the last seven years of life burning to get revenge on the ‘Chosen’ vampire who made her love him, and then betrayed her and killed her best friend, among others. She lost her faith in love and friendship that night and has struggled in her career as an agent ever since. Now she’ll finally get her chance at her enemy Alejandro has loved Daria for longer than seven years.
The Chosen Sin by Anya Bast | : Books
He was in her circle of friends when she was betrayed by the man she loved and she turned to him for comfort Since that bastt, Alejandro was ‘Chosen’ and his life changed forever.
He still battles the bad guys, he just polices the Chosen instead of humans. When he hears about Daria’s mission, he fights to be both her partner and the anga who ‘Chooses’ her. Alejandro is a man who knows what he wants In all honesty, I didn’t particularly enjoy the book until I got about halfway through. I found her actions fairly cruel, in a way, since once she was turned she HAD to know how she was affecting Alejandro Once I begin to dislike a heroine, it’s very difficult for me to enjoy the story.
BUT, about halfway through Daria began to ‘put on her big girl panties’ and deal. For me, that made all choen difference. Bast’s vampire world is set in the far future which gives it a different feel from many other vamp chlsen out today. I had a pretty good idea of where the story was headed, but she did manage to throw a surprise or two at me before the end of the story.
I’m guessing she may have plans to write more stories about this world and I’m hooked enough to want to read the next ayna if that happens.

Oct 14, Jen rated it it was amazing Recommends it for: Keynon or Ward lovers cohsen a bit more hotness. Lots of hot vampire sex and a decent plot to go along with it. Hopefully she will make this a series, cause I would love to read more! Aug 24, Laurie Garrison rated it liked it Shelves: A very easy read.
Alejandero is a hot dominating vampire with out all the bells and whistles that comes with BDSM, in other words sib loves to control then gives pleasure and love, ein is also very protective.
My problem with this book is I found nothing special about the story it seemed to drag to much for me. The heron Daria is A very easy read. The heron Daria is one that has had a past sij men that keeps her form love or capable of seeing anyone could love her, this goes on for way over pages.
Feb 07, Cindyg rated it it was amazing. Wow what an amazing read. Anya did one awesome job with this story.
I loved Alejandro, he is strong, giving and has the patience of a saint. Daria on the other drove me mad, she pissed me off more than once. I would love this to be a series but not sure if it is. The pace was fast just the way I like em. The characters where strong, just the way I like em and the sex was so intense, just the way I like em. Highly recommend this read to all who love PNR. Sep 25, Jane Stewart rated it did not like it Shelves: Disappointing main story but interesting potential subplot.
My favorite part of the book was the bad guy Sante. After reading this book, I was surprised at my own response of wishing the author had changed a couple of things and made it into a story about Sante redeeming himself and becoming a good guy. In fact, he was a good guy in some ways.
I was intrigued with him, I liked some of what he did, and I liked his true love relationship with someone. I felt sympathy and hurt for Disappointing main story but interesting potential subplot. I felt sympathy and hurt for him. The main story was not good for me. I did not like the heroine Daria. She was selfish, insensitive, and mean to Alejandro Alejher vampire partner who loved her.
